Recommended for a weekend away!
What we missed in the room was a small refrigerator where you could put a bottle of water or something similar. can make/keep it cold. We also struggled with the climate in the room, it was constantly 23 degrees and we could raise the temperature but not lower it. Finally we turned on the air conditioning and luckily it became a little cooler.
Further information;
Within walking distance of the Nordhorn shopping center, close to the Kaufland and DM. Also within walking distance of several restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food, especially the Greek Restaurant Olympia is highly recommended!!!
We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, it was fine, but we perhaps expected more from a price-quality perspective.
By the way, the staff there was super friendly and attentive, they even wore traditional costumes. After dinner we were offered a snack free of charge and we were also offered a drink from the hotel

Excellent
The room was excellent, the breakfest is excellent, very kind and hardworking personell, no streetsounds.
After checking out, we get some presents: a little
Jar jam and our daughter a sweet Teddy bear.
Excellent.

thank you for your kind review. Our house has air conditioning only in public areas. If you prefer a room with air-conditioning, we recommend our partner house, Riverside Hotel am Nordhorner Vechtesee. All the rooms as well as the public area are equipped with air conditioning.

Great hotel, comfortable and spotless.
The bar was friendly and we got a small free sampler beer too.
We didn't have an evening meal, but the breakfast was great, plenty to choose from and you can diy an omelette if you wanted. All the usual cereals, hams, cheeses, yogurt and pastries.
I'd happily stay here again, next time I would use the spa too!
