Amazing hotel in the centre of Skopje
From arriving at 5am after an 8 hour bus ride and being given a room (at no additional cost) to sleep in, hours before the normal check-in time was the best thing, ever!
The reception staff were brilliant and organised a taxi driver to take us to Matka canyon for the afternoon. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as we were hungover, but if the rooms and hospitality are anything to go at, it will be amazing.
We didn't do the gym or spa, due to there being loads to do in Skopje and we didn't have the time!
The hotel was situated just behind the main square and the river, in the perfect place for sightseeing, eating and drinking.
I would give this hotel more stars if possible. Nothing but helpful and friendly.

A Delightful Stay at Hotel Macedonia Square
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were always willing to assist with any requests, including recommendations for family-friendly activities in the area.
The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The room was spotless, modern, and well-equipped for a family stay.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to both adult and child tastes. Our little one especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and cereal choices.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Room - bed was super comfy, and lovely and big bathroom. Only gripe is that the room gets a bit dark during the day as the furnishings are dark coloured and the lighting is quite yellow. But really it was an awesome stay and I would recommend this property.
