Địa điểm và phòng ok nhưng tổ chức rất tệ
Chúng tôi là một nhóm lớn người (50 ca). Mặc dù đã bảo lưu và gửi dữ liệu trước đó, việc kiểm tra rất dài và rắc rối. Chúng tôi đợi gần một tiếng đồng hồ, một số phòng đã sai, độc thân thay vì gấp đôi và giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh là giá vé dễ dàng. Phòng là lớn và confortabile, bữa ăn sáng là tốt và khác nhau.

It Gets the Job Done for a Night or Two
This hotel is located on the former Dolni Vitkovice steel mill site in Ostrava. If your primary reason for visiting Ostrava is to pay a visit to the historic site and interpretive centre that the steel mill was converted to after it ceased operating, this hotel is most conveniently placed and serviceable.
Hotel VP1 is rather no frills in approach and has a distincly dormatory feel to it. The rooms are clean, but a bit spartan in decor. You get basic beds, television, table and chairs, bedside tables and wardrobes.
The bathrooms in the rooms are similarly no frills. They are clean and you are provided with basic toilettries that any hotel might provide, but nothing extra.
Overall, the hotel gives the feel of a place primarily for you to keep your things while you are out doing other things, and to sleep . If you are the sort of person who considers the hotel experience to be an integral aspect of your overall travel experience, VP1 will probably not satisfy you.
The check-in was easy enough and I found the front desk staff I dealt with could all speak English well enough and were helpful and friendly.
At the front desk, you can buy some basic souvenir items as well as snack foods, soft drinks or beer.
Breakfast was an interesting experience as I was offered a selection of three different breakfasts and a range of times to have it delivered to my room the next morning.
My breakfast was delivered on time and with a smile. It was a pretty standard continental type of bread rolls along with some sliced meat, cheese and vegetables along with a glass of juice and cup of coffee. It was certainly enough to get my day started well.
The VP1 is located very close to a tram stop of the Ostrava public transit system and is quite easy to get to from the main train station if you arrive in the city via rail.
I only have a couple of real complaints about the hotel:
The beds are not particularly comfortable. I was able to sleep, but it certainly wasn't a great sleep. If I was to stay on Ostrava for more than a night or two, I would look for other accomodations that might offer more in the way of creature comforts than VP1 does.
If you arrive to the hotel via the nearest public transport stop, it's easy enough to find. However, navigating to the hotel on foot through the surrounding district of the city was rather tricky as there is not much signage at street level to guide you there and the hotel is rather tucked away from street view. It would be nice to see more signage around to guide people to the hotel.
I wouldn't discourage you from using VP1, but just know that you won't be getting anything fancy with them.

Hotel dobry na raz, ale raczej nie wrócimy.
W miarę czyste pokoje. Nie ma problemu z miejscami parkingowymi.Trochę daleko od centrum, jeśli przyjeżdżasz na zwiedzanie/city break ale Ostrava jest na tyle mała, że nie miało to większego znaczenia. Blisko tramwaje, Bolt bardzo tani, no i cudowne Dolne Vitkovice tuż za płotem.
Jest to hotel robotniczy, więc z rana pracownicy wychodzą do pracy a pokoje nie są wyciszone. Pokoje są bardzo proste i nieładne. Nie ma tv. W lecie było gorąco w pokojach, ale kiedy otwieraliśmy okna było głośno z powodu tramwajów a przede wszystkim odgłosów z pobliskiej wciąż działającej fabryki.
Dla ludzi, którzy przyjeżdżają na festiwale odbywające się na terenie Vitkovic może się wydawać idealnym miejscem, bo blisko, ale wyobrażam sobie, że jest w nim dość głośno, więc raczej się nie da odpocząć.

Přespání na 2 noci
Po příjezdu na hotel na konci záři, kdy již pršelo 3 dny v kuse a venkovní teplota byla pod 10 stupňů se v pokoji netopilo. Navic po příchodu na pokoj bylo ještě otevřené okno. Po dotazu na recepci proc netopí, byla paní recepční překvapena, ze se netopí. Sama tam měla teplo- zřejmě zapnutý přímotop. Na otázku proč pokoj ještě více ochlazují otevřeným oknem, tak asi prý paní uklízečka zapomněla. Na dotaz kdy se tedy začne topit, jsem dostal radu, že na zdi je kontakt na správcovou objektu a mám si ji zavolat....
Takže ve výsledku se následující 3 dny stejně netopilo. Pokoje hodně stroze zařízené.
Snídaně byla v jiné budově přes ulici. Byla průměrná.
Celkově již nikdy více.

Přespání
Levný hotel pro toho, kdo hledá jen přespání a nehledá komfort. Snídaně ušla (rohlík, chleba, vajíčková a tuňáková pomazánka, máslo, marmelády, rajče,okurek). Celá Ostrava mi přišla depresivní. Nemohla bych zde bydlet.
