Tuần tuyệt vời cùng các em nhỏ
Chúng tôi ở lại Pop để nghỉ xuân với 2 đứa trẻ ở độ tuổi tiểu học. Đó là một nơi tuyệt vời cho chúng tôi trong tuần, yêu thích không khí vui vẻ và theo chủ đề. Chúng tôi ở trong một căn phòng tiêu chuẩn và được phân vào khu vực thập niên 80, cầu thang của chúng tôi là một khối rubic ba tầng! Giường Murphy của nữ hoàng rất thoải mái và thiết kế thông minh. Chúng tôi đã để nó ở đó cả tuần và căn phòng chắc chắn là nhỏ, nhưng chúng tôi chỉ ở đó để ngủ và chuẩn bị sẵn sàng, xem tivi. Khu vực lưu trữ thông minh và chúng tận dụng tối đa không gian. Vali vừa vặn dưới gầm giường. Đã thêm các túi đá có ga-lông vào ngăn làm mát đồ uống trong phòng của chúng tôi để giữ cho sữa, nước trái cây lạnh hơn. Disney’s Pop Century
Love this hotel and all the pop larger than life iconic toys, games, themes throughout the hotel. I also really like being able to take the skylines gondola to Epcot. The rooms are set up just like the all Star hotels. A large king or queen bed and also a Murphy bed, when it is not down, it is a table for two. I love being able to have my car right there and not having to deal with a valet. The restaurant is reasonable with a lot of choices. We did not eat there, because we ate at Epcot.

Pop Century Resort has a lot more to offer than you think.
Advertised as a value hotel it suited our needs. The room was small but tidy and clean, let's face it, how much are we staying in.
We weren't sure about the Quick Dining voucher, but if you shop around there is no need to survive on burger and chips. How they manage to cook beef and salmon etc as fast food is beyond me, but it tasted like anything served in a pub or restaurant. Often it even came with a cocktail, beer or wine. Value for money and it filled me up.
Great idea having a microwave and toaster in the resort, as we bought bagels and had those with room coffee, which was ok.
Perhaps the biggest selling point of this resort, or it's sister next door, is that it is at the start of the Skyliner, a cable car to get to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. But it is also useful to stop at the Caribbean Beach resort, where the mixed platter is enough for two (and it's covered in the QDP).
Another tip is to travel from Hollywood St by boat to neighbouring hotel. We stopped and ate, for a treat, at the Yaughtclub Resort. The steak was worthy of a Michelin star. It is then just a stroll to Epcot.
We traveled with our 4 year old granddaughter, so we had a few Character Dining session. By far the best for staff, food and character interaction was in the Wilderness Lodge. Also a wonderful hotel.
Some you can expect to be hurried, like meeting Cinderella in her castle. But some staff were rude and rushed you out the door. That said, it was a stunning setting and I'm sure my granddaughter didn't worry, after all she met Cinderella.
Get used to the Disney App as it's your lifeline. With it you can check wait times and exactly were the characters appear for a meet and greet.
Disappointed Thunder Mountain was down, but absolutely loved Tron.
Disney operate a Virtual Queue. Which is ok if your tech savvy and can wake up every morning to book a slot for that morning. If not you will not use that ride. However, they open this up again at 13:00 and 19:00, if you prefer to ride later in the day.
With this in mind, staying at a Disney resort allows access to the park, half an hour before it opens. So, you can dash to rides, like Tron, and have a short wait time.

Great Stay
Stayed in building 4, ground level right across from the HIppity-Dippity pool and a very short walk to the Skyliner or the main lobby. Fairly quiet even with nearby pool activity. Very quiet during the night. Ok with every other day housekeeping but staff fell short of that and we had to request towel replacement. Room was ok otherwise. More than met our needs. Plenty of hot water. Liked the sliding doors separating bedroom from sink area and the the bath area. Iron/board, hair dryer, mini-fridge, plenty of lighting. And, the retractable mirror made for great shaving. Queen bed with something like 8 pillows.
Staff particularly in the lobby could not have been any more helpful or friendly.
Be prepared for Disney prices. A banana $2.29, bottle of coke $5.50, 12 oz bottle of orange juice $5.29 and the refillable mug $23.00.
We ate dinner in the food court and were less inclined to eat there again. My 1/2 or so roasted chicken was warm at best, the rice/beans were rather spicey, the garlic green beans were ok. Wife's pulled pork sandwich was very spicey but the french fries were great.
We did not take advantage of the pool nor other amenities at Pop Century. We really appreciated the proximity to the Skyliner. And, would stay at Pop again.

Loudest hotel ever
This is the loudest hotel I've ever stayed at. I'm sure it's fine if you're at the parks all day. Unfortunately my daughter got sick and all we've been listening to for 3 days now is insanely loud alarms and machines while they pressure wash the building. It's almost unbearable and you can't get away from it. On top.of that our room was disgusting - full of hair and there was even someone's toothpaste remnants in our sink. The only good thing is the skylines.
