Lovely weekend

Generous welcome as always from hosts Kate and Nathan at this delightful country bed and breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble- rooms well equipped and warm atmosphere. Just right for us and highly recommended for a stay close to the many and lovely attractions in Devon

Hi Rick - it's always really nice to see you both - thank you for coming back to see us again:) Thank you also for taking the time to leave this really lovely review on trip advisor - very much appreciated by us both! As you know you were our last guests this year - we're now closed for a bit of R&R and will soon be welcoming in the builders and decorators to help us get ready for the 2025 season, when we open again in March next year. Lovely accommodation, highly recommended.

Spick and span family run Devon accommodation. Friendly and obliging owners who happily assisted with all requests and enquiries. Conveniently located to Ashburton and Dartmoor Moors. Generous breakfast options included. Would happily recommend and stay again. Just a shame the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the garden!

A wonderful stay

A great place to stay for a few days with comfortable rooms, a beautiful garden, plenty of lovely places to explore in the Dartmoor and icing on the cake Kate and Nathan who were very nice and helpful; they gave us tips on restaurants and places to visit in the area
We'll probably come back to Gages Mill to enjoy this place and also Pierre wants to challenge the British runners in The Crossing after the Great Escape race
What a fantastic experience !!Thanks to you both.

Idyllic Country Setting

We had an amazing experience at Gages Mills. We had a group of six adults traveling to the area for a family wedding. The property is lovely. The rooms are very comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. The country breakfasts were delicious! Kate and Nathan were incredable hosts. They acommodated our every need, including a family members illness and working out details for a longer stay. This allowed more garden time and spending time in the darling town of Ashburton!
Our stay at Gages Mills was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

We stayed recently at the property for 2 nights, cannot fault this lovely place, location worked well for us. Nothing was too much for Kate who was such a welcoming host and offered us ideas on where to go visit. Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. We look forward to visiting again.
